Matte Painting - VUE to Photoshop to Nuke
For this Matte Painting I knew I wanted to use three types of software, so I began by figuring out a pipeline. I created an HDRi background in VUE. VUE allows the user to select the time of day, and adjust how the sky appears. I then brought that render into Photoshop and worked in layers building up the depth of mountains within my scene. I also used the clone stamp tool to create the foreground mountains. Once I was satisfied with the composition, I dragged the .PSD file into Nuke to begin working on the compositing aspect of this piece.

I am currently working on color correcting and card projections with displacement.

After those are complete, I plan to composite in clouds and animate the camera throughout the scene showing the parallax created from the cards.
